Bigger Than UsSample

Paul was writing to Timothy—a young pastor feeling the weight of leadership, persecution, and weariness. In that moment, Paul reminded him of something that changed everything: God’s faithfulness is not dependent on ours. We live in a world where loyalty often fades, promises are easily broken, and commitment depends on convenience. But God is not like us. His faithfulness flows from His very nature—He cannot deny Himself. Even when our hearts wander, even when our prayers are half-hearted, even when we fail to keep our promises, God keeps His. This doesn’t excuse our unfaithfulness; it gives us hope in it. Because His faithfulness doesn’t waver with our weakness, we can come back to Him again and again. His steadfast love becomes the foundation that steadies us when everything else feels uncertain.
When we are faithless, He is still faithful—not because we deserve it, but because He is faithful. Rest in His reliability. When you feel like you’ve failed God, remember: your inconsistency doesn’t change His character. Return quickly. Don’t let shame keep you away. His faithfulness invites you to return, not to run.

About this Plan

The real challenge in life is not how well we start but how we stay faithful over time. In this devotional, we will journey with God’s people as they move from brokenness to renewal. We’ll meet a God who uses personal burdens, teamwork, perseverance through opposition, His Word, and lifelong faithfulness to accomplish His purposes. When the opposition feels too strong, there’s a bigger God who meets us in the middle of it all—a God who works in and through ordinary people.
