Who Is the Greatest in the Kingdom?
Matthew 18:4
The greatest person in God’s kingdom is the one who makes himself humble like this child.
Jesus always loves little children. On some occasions, through children, Jesus taught the people about how they should live. Jesus even says that the greatest person in His kingdom is the person who is humble, like a child. Yes, Jesus expects everyone to be like children in order to enter the Kingdom of God!
What Jesus means is that He expects us to live in humility, sincerity, purity and full trust in Him. Sometimes, you might feel so small and insignificant. However, remember that you are made in the image of God and you are greatly valued and loved by Jesus.
Just like how you depend so much on your parents because you know you need them to take care of you, this is what God wants from His children. He wants His children to depend and lean on Him. No matter how big you have grown, always come to Jesus humbly and sincerely like a little child.
Prayer
Dear God, let me stay humble and sincere till I grow up. I will also keep trusting You in all circumstances. Amen.
