The first thing Paul says in this passage from Romans is that he is convinced. That means that something has proved to him that what he’s about to say is true. There could have been a time when he wasn’t sure, but now, he is convinced. While we can’t be sure of exactly what convinced him, we can trust that when we lean on God, God will show us the same thing. No matter what, God’s love is always there. This we can know to be true in any circumstance or season life throws our way.
Today, pick a friend to help you memorize this passage. Have them memorize one verse while you memorize the other. Twice a day, text or say your half to them and have them say their half back. Work together to get it down in your hearts and minds.
