DAY 27 OF 30

The writer of this Psalm had been face-to-face with his own death, but God stepped in and spared his life. In the middle of his frustration, he took out his anxieties on others and even accused everyone around him of lying. Yet even in his stress and sorrow, he trusted in the Lord. If we’re honest, where else can we go when faced with our own mortality?

This Psalm is a reminder that God is our deliverer. He rescues us from the depths of despair, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Reflect on times when God has intervened in your life, delivering you from difficult situations. Those moments are important. They can give us hope and strengthen our faith when we feel like we’ve hit our lowest points. Even in times of trouble–and there will be–God can give us strength to persevere.

About this Plan

Uncharted

Seasons of life can feel uncertain or uncharted—no clear map. No instructions. Just a nudge to move forward, even when you’re not sure where you’re going. Faith can feel the same way. It can sometimes feel like we’re following God into places that feel too big, too strange, or too complicated. In this devotional, we’ll walk with Moses and wrestle with what it means to trust a God who invites us to move forward even when the road ahead is uncertain.
