UnchartedSample

How quickly we can forget God’s promises when we focus on the danger or challenge in front of us.
But Moses remained firm as he remembered what the Lord had told him: that while Pharaoh would chase him, God would get the glory in the end. So, lifting his voice over the panic that was rippling through the camp, Moses declared, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm, and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:13-14 NIV).
This moment reminds us that even when the storm is raging around us, the Lord is always with us, fighting for us and protecting us. It doesn’t matter how imminent the danger or how high-pressure the task is; when we surrender our fears and worry to the Lord and remain firm in our faith, peace will fall onto us, and we will have the power to emerge from any storm victorious!

About this Plan

Seasons of life can feel uncertain or uncharted—no clear map. No instructions. Just a nudge to move forward, even when you’re not sure where you’re going. Faith can feel the same way. It can sometimes feel like we’re following God into places that feel too big, too strange, or too complicated. In this devotional, we’ll walk with Moses and wrestle with what it means to trust a God who invites us to move forward even when the road ahead is uncertain.
