Where do you turn for joy? Maybe it's a momentary distraction, a small achievement, or a kind word from a friend. While these things can bring temporary happiness, have you noticed how quickly that feeling subsides? It's often a fleeting moment that leaves you feeling empty.

The most remarkable aspect of this is that God desires relationship with you. Through Christ, He doesn't just tolerate you; He delights in you. You do not need to earn your way into His presence through performance or appearances. You only need to come as you are.

True joy is not contingent on a perfect life. It is about being anchored to the One who is perfect. When you understand that the Creator of the universe finds pleasure in being with you, it provides a new perspective. This is the source of deep, unshakeable joy.
