Real Relationships

DAY 1 OF 15

God Made Us for Relationships

You can have a full schedule, a packed house, and still be completely alone.

God created the heavens, the earth, the animals, and even Eden, and still said something wasn’t right. “It is not good for man to be alone.” Before there was sin, there was solitude, and even that needed fixing.

Loneliness isn’t just sad, it’s dangerous. It increases the risk of death more than obesity or smoking 15 cigarettes a day. That’s not a scare tactic; it’s science. Loneliness is killing people. And it’s not how God wired us.

From the very beginning, God created us for relationships, with Him and with one another. Isolation is the enemy’s battlefield. But connection? That’s where healing, strength, and blessing happen.

Jesus didn’t do life alone. He built brotherhood with the disciples, spent time with His Father in prayer, and wept with close friends. If the Son of God needed community, so do we. Relationships aren’t just “nice”, they’re necessary. It’s time to fight the cultural current of isolation and intentionally pursue real, godly connections.

You were never meant to go through life, pain, or victory alone. Don’t settle for surface-level connections. God wants you rooted in relationships that sharpen your soul, build your faith, and carry you through the hard days.

Who is one person you need to reconnect with, forgive, or encourage today, and what’s stopping you?
